Friends of Kapyong-Amis de Kapyong is a not for profit corporation  incorporated for the purpose of raising awareness and educating Canadians about the epic Battle of Kapyong and the gallant stand of 2nd Battalion Princess Patricia’s Canadian Light Infantry on Hill 677, April 23-26, 1951.


This pivotal battle fought by 700 Canadians stopped 10,000 Chinese soldiers from advancing on Seoul, splitting the United Nations force in half and the nuclear retaliation if the UN Command had been captured and/or the forced evacuation of the Korean Peninsula by the 400,000 UN troops.
